This exists for one reason: American imagery shouldn’t die with the paper it was printed on. So we track down public-domain scans, restore them with museum-level care, and put the art back into everyday use—prints, cards, apparel, whatever gives it another century. It’s preservation, sure. But it’s also practical. Good images should stay alive, not locked behind glass.
